In 2011, Pinnacle Timing was proudly built and led by Dana Waterman, whose passion for endurance sports and commitment to local racing communities created the strong foundation we stand on today. For more than a decade, Dana has been the heartbeat of countless finish lines; ensuring accuracy, reliability, and unforgettable race day experiences. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he’s poured into this company.

Today, we’re excited to share the next chapter in the Pinnacle Timing story!

Introducing the Gomo Family

Pinnacle Timing is officially being passed on to a family who lives and breathes the very spirit of the events we serve: Amy, Sonoma, and Aaron Gomo.

The Gomo’s are no strangers to early start lines, dusty trails, and the joy and chaos that racing brings. As an outdoor loving crew based in New Hampshire, they bring an infectious energy and genuine love for the running and biking communities.

  • Amy brings a passion for both trail and road running, along with a deep appreciation for the tight knit endurance community the sport fosters.

  • Aaron is an avid skier and mountain biker, and never misses a chance to hit a new trail.

  • Sonoma, their adventure ready kiddo, can frequently be found exploring right alongside them, future race director in the making.

Of course, no family introduction would be complete without their beloved four legged companions. You’ll likely see them on site at future races:

  • Dobby Jo, their wild and joyful Vizsla with a bottomless supply of energy.

  • Chip, the wise and steady Blue Heeler who has been around the block more times than he’d admit (he’s currently approaching his 15th birthday!).

Yes, there’s a good chance these two will be making cameo appearances at your next finish line!

The Gomo’s are committed to carry on the high standards Dana set, while also introducing fresh ideas, new energy, and a renewed focus on community engagement. Their shared love for the outdoors, athletics, and family adventure aligns perfectly with the mission of Pinnacle Race Timing.
